OK this HAS to be one of the MOST OVERUSED Phrases in the 21st Century! I don't remember when I was young people having to start talking with the preface "LET ME BE CLEAR!" Why? Does it mean they fib so much that they have to make the listener feel, "Well maybe they are telling the truth this time"?
