city of johns creek ga: Johns Creek Georgia has been very, very good to me... - 10/10/11 10:17 AM
Not entirely sure how it happened, but Johns Creek Georgia has been very, very good for my Real Estate business.  Since going full-time in this industry, more than 50% of my home sale transactions has occured in the Johns Creek zip codes.  I suspect it is my interest and focus on top-ranked schools, or maybe I can relate to all those transplanted Georgia residents who actually escaped the ice and snow as did I.  Whatever the reasons, I love the area, the housing options, the activities, the parent-involvement with their kids, the park systems, the amenities and the beautiful green lawns!

city of johns creek ga: House-hunting in North Fulton County Georgia - 01/27/11 10:18 AM
When I first relocated to the Atlanta Georgia area back in 1990 from Chicago; my house-hunting in North Fulton County Georgia was simple. At that time there were only a few well-defined suburbs and communities north of Atlanta from which to choose. The main corridor, GA400 was only a few lanes wide and ended at the intersection of Interstate 285, our loop around Atlanta. Few Country Clubs and large home developments even existed in 1990 so the choices were slim. Shopping outside Interstate 285 (also known as outside the Perimeter) was even more problematic as Lenox, Phipps and Perimeter Mall were THE only destinations.
