Home sales increased again, and prices rose too in the Scottsdale real estate market during March. The number of homes sold was up 24% from February but down 13% from last March. The average sale price increased 1% from February and is up 6% from March 2018. The average sale price rose 1% from February, and was up 4% over March 2018. Sellers received about 98% of their list price during the month. Home sales increased a bit and prices rose as well in the The Sun City Grand real estate market through February.  The number of homes sold in Grand for the month of February was up 12% versus January, but down 16% from last year.  The average sale price jumped 8% from January and was up 23% year over year. The Anthem Country Club real estate market continued to plateau in February. The total number of homes sold in the Country Club was down 41% versus January and was also down 6% from February 2018. The average sale price increased by 5% over January, but was down 11% from February 2018. The price per square foot also fell 2% from January and was down 4% year over year. After the whole 2008/09 housing crash I swore to myself that I would alert people when I saw the signs of another impending housing market crash, or at least a decline.  Unfortunately by the time the media announces it as news the decline is usually in full swing.  And as the saying goes on Wall St. buy on the rumor, sell on the news. Prices rose but sales activity slipped in the Anthem Country Club real estate market during November. The total number of homes sold in the Country Club was down 6% versus October and was down 12% from Noveber 2017.  Marking 3 months in row of declining home sales. The average sale price increased by 5% from October, but was down 22% from November 2017. The price per square foot also fell 3% from October but was up 4% year over year.
