Activity picked up in the Anthem Country Club during the month of March. The total number of homes sold in the Country Club increased significantly over February, and was up slightly year over year as well. The average sale price increased over Februaryc 2017. Year over year the average sale price increased by 17%, and the price per square foot increased 7% year over year. The days on market dropped dramatically, 39% versus February and 36% year over year. The Anthem real estate market picked up a bit in March. The total number of homes sold was up 19% from February, and up 9% over March 2016. The average sale price was up 11% from February and up 14% year over year. The 12 month moving average moved up slightly month over month (1%), and up 3% from last year. The price per square foot also rose versus February and was up 9% year over year. February saw the return of sales of the smaller homes in the Anthem Country Club.. The total number of homes sold in the Country Club decreased slightly from January, but was up slightly year over year. The average sale price dropped greatly over January 2017, most likely attributed to smaller less expensive homes selling. Year over year the average sale price increased by 3%, however, the price per square foot dropped 6% year over year. The days on market spiked up as well 139% over January and 90% year over year. The total number of homes sold was up 17% from January, and up 39% over February 2016. The average sale price was down 14% from January and up 4% year over year. The 12 month moving average was flat again month over month, and up only 1% from last year. The price per square foot was also flat versus January and down 1% year over year.
