The third quarter of 2015 showed a continued slowing for the Anthem Country Club real estate market. Home sales dipped a bit from the second quarter of the year but were better than the third quarter 2014. The average sale price slid versus the second quarter but was up 5% over last year. Homes in the $500k + range are still taking a bit longer to sell but we are starting to see more homes test the million dollar mark. So things in that price range are looking up. Residents are invited to provide comments on the 2015 Budget at a special meeting Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Anthem Civic Building. The ACC Board will be evaluating proposed funding for programs and services. The final 2015 Budget will be considered by the Board of Directors at their Oct. 22 meeting. Anthem residents and business owners are encouraged to attend both meetings. The development of the 2015 ACC Budget began mid-summer.
