Home sales rose but prices retreated in the Anthem real estate market during April. The total number of homes sold was up 24% over March and up 16% year over year. The average sale price decreased by 4% versus March but was up 8% over April 2018. The price per square foot was up 4% over March and was up 9% year over year. The 12 month moving average ($350,525) was up 1% over March, and is up 4% from last year. The days on market rose to 83, up 14% versus March and up 20% from April 2018. I love working with first time home buyers. The excitement of buying a home is fresh for them, which makes it fun for everyone.
