schools: Anthem, AZ Schools - AZ Merit Scores on the rise.....

The 2016 AZ Merit scores increased for all Anthem area schools compared to 2015. The AZ Merit (Arizona's Measurement of Educational Readiness to Inform Teaching) is given each spring to students in grades 3-12 and is designed to measure students aptitudes in math and language arts. The scores for Anthem schools and the overall change from 2015 are listed below:

The Anthem real estate market picked up a bit in March. The number of homes sold increased dramatically from February and year over year, staying in line with national trends. The 12 month moving average sale price is still continuing on upward trend, but we are maintaining single digit gains, up 2% from the previous year. The number of homes on the market increased to 220, 25% less than where we were at the same time last year. Days on market increased a bit to 94 days in March, 6% greater than last year.
