Today was busy but fun and rewarding as are many days in the world of real estate. One of my past clients came in to list the home that I had sold him and his wife many years ago. Unfortunately, his home is on the default list, which is the sad story of quite a few homeowners today. Matt came into my office today excited that we were getting multiple-offers on some of our listings. He said he believes the market really may have turned upward. I believe he is right, but it is too soon to be sure. A local appraiser did announce recently that homes under $160,000 in our market only had a 6 month supply. He predicted a possible future shortage in that range. We certainly are experiencing more closings, more offers and multiple-offers on the lower price range homes. I just returned from a 2-day Women's Conference where women convened from all over the world! What amazing positive synergy! There were women there from all walks of life with all kinds of troubles, problems and trials in their! They were smiling, happy and ready to learn! The consensus of the conference, in my opinion, is that even in troubled times with economic and financial trials, we have much to be grateful for!
