NEW BRANSON VA CARE Shell Knob, and other SW Missouri veterans, will soon be able to chose where they get their medical care The opening of a new clinic in Branson by the end of September, will provide primary care and a mental health clinic. Veterans in rural areas have been underserved and had to travel to Mt. Vernon or Fayetville, Arkansas. The VA anticipates it will serve 900 existing patients.The new Branson VA clinic is one of 38 new clinics announced last year.

In my mind they were the dreaded birds circling dead bodies in western movies or cartoons. All that has changed after living here a few years. Now I regard them as God's garbage collectors, cleaning up the armadillos that get killed on the roads in summer.

GOT CARDS? Do you always have some of your business cards on your person? I have to admit that I frequently run into a store around Shell Knob, clutching only my debit card and shopping list. This was not the case earlier this week and I was extremely glad I had mine with me. We need to be aware that eyes and ears of potential clients are always around us. I had to retake the Realtor Ethics Class at the board's office in Branson, MO this week, as I had changed brokers and this class is required to join Tri- Lakes Board. … (12 comments)
Springtime heralds the arrival of new shows in Branson, Missouri. For Shell Knob and Table Rock Lake residents, that means discounted ticket prices.
