expired ozark listings: Why Didn't They Sell?

WHY ?
There are thousands of houses that sit unsold, and probably thousands more that have been withdrawn from the market during this recession. Checking listings that have expired or been withdrawn in the past two years in my part of the Ozarks, Shell Knob, made me wonder how they had been marketed. Was it Location, Location, Location - or quite possibly Price - Price - Price?Possibly a bit of both, but many of them were vacant, so foreclosed? Maybe.
