sun city model home: FInally, light colored kitchens in the desert

Don't get me wrong. I love the look of med-dark stained knotty alderwood cabinets, some shade of brown speckled granite, and earth-toned paints. However, almost every home built within the last 8 years in Mesquite, NV looks like this. Today I previewed the recently decorated new home models at Del Webb's Sun City Mesquite. I am in love! I love the light gray paint and the light granite with waves of color found in white carerra marble. The sun entering the room just bounces off them making for a really bright and airy kitchen.
