palm beach gardens: PGA NATIONAL IS HOSTING 2 PROFESSIONAL GOLF EVENTS IN NEXT 3 MONTHS - 12/11/14 11:40 PM
The PGA National community located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida will be hosting 2 professional golf events over the next 2 months. In action right now is the WEB.com tour Q-school final round play through December 16th. I stopped out at PGA National earlier this week and it looks like a great weekend of golf. It’s a bit chilly out, so if you decide to head out to watch I would make sure to bring a jacket or sweater. Seems to be free access for golf fans as I didn’t see any place to buy tickets when I was out there. … (0 comments)

Today I began seeing press releases from real estate pundits throwing out their predictions for the 2015 housing market. That’s all fine and good and I will probably give own opinions on 2015 in the coming weeks, but before I do that I thought it would be appropriate to take a look at what transpired in 2014.

Read my previous blog post for a more in depth description of the program.
When BOA first rolled this program out in September of this year, I have to admit that a lot of professionals had their doubts on the sincerity of this Bank of America program. There have been many promises made by BOA and other lenders and servicers to simplify the short sale process or offer incentives to homeowners that are eventually reversed … (1 comments)

palm beach gardens: Tips for Insurance and Binding During Hurricane Season - 08/24/11 08:58 AM
TIPS FOR INSURANCE BINDING DURING HURRICANE SEASON
When buying a home ask your insurance agent if you can pay for the insurance prior to closing to avoid any binding issues. Most insurance companies can bind your policy up to 30 days in advance. If you do not close on the purchase of the property, you will get a 100% refund of the prepaid insurance premium so there is no risk in binding early. Once a hurricane is a threat to any part of the state of Florida, many insurance companies will start shutting down their binding authority and you will not … (1 comments)

palm beach gardens: Short Sale Advice for Buyers - 07/09/11 09:32 AM
If you are shopping for a home in this market it's inevitable that you are going to come across a home for sale that is being sold as a short sale. What should a serious buyer do when they find a home they like or even love and are ready to make an offer and discover it's a short sale listing? Especially when everything you hear from the media and friends and the guy in the checkout line at the supermarket is the terrible experiences they've had in trying to purchase a short sale and how much time they can take.
