epro: The NEW e-PRO! - 01/10/11 12:55 AM

New Technology for a New Year! The NEW e-PRO®!

One of the most exciting offerings at the NAR Convention in November, was the roll out of the new e-PRO® Certification program. The old course was created in 2002 and had been updated, but the time had come to completely re-invent the delivery & content.
Working together with the Social Media Marketing Institute (SMMI), the National Association of REALTORS® has redesigned the e-PRO® curriculum to meet the challenges of TODAY's real estate market.

epro: Las Vegas New Mexico and other Travels - 08/13/09 03:46 AM
The ghost of Byron T. didn't come to our room last night. After reading his legend and the history of the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, New Mexico, I was kinda hoping he would wake us up in the middle of the night, but no such luck. Maybe it was because hubby, Bub, was sleeping blissfully next to me; it is said that Byron prefers to visit single women in this historic hotel, built in 1882.
We are halfway through a six day road trip in New Mexico, as I present e-PRO workshops in 6 towns. I am finding a great … (2 comments)

epro: Kalispell To Many Glacier-Week Three The Great Northwest Vacation - 06/24/09 03:39 PM
The drive from Paradise to Kalispell took us along Flathead Lake for almost an hour. What gorgeous scenery. In my Missoula e-PRO Class one of the participants said there are over 150+ listings on the lakefront and none has sold in the past 6 months. Seems what I am hearing as I travel, is that the under $200,000 and first time homebuyer market is getting busier in most areas, especially in the last 60 days, but the higher end market buyers are still on the sidelines.
We ate a nice Father's Day dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ in Kalispell.  It was … (3 comments)

epro: A Weekend in Paradise (Montana) Week Two The Great Northwestern Vacation - 06/24/09 03:57 AM
We are still taking roads less traveled and enjoying the scenery and seeing what's going on in the rural towns in the Northwest. From Walla Walla for 4 hours through beautiful green rolling hills. Wind turbines dotted the landscape and cows and horses were everywhere. We saw a deer off the road ambling up a hill and lots of hawks overhead.
We crossed into northern Idaho to go to the beautiful town of Coeur d'Alene so I could share e-PRO with more cool folks! My buddy Christina Ethridge brought her hubby, Chuck, whom I had never met; so, it was fun … (4 comments)

epro: The Great Southwest now Northwest) Summer Vacation: Buhl to Hines, OR - 06/12/09 02:50 PM
Oh.... what a beautiful morning! The sun is just peaking over the ridge at the Miracle Hot Springs between Buhl and Hagerman, Idaho. We slept in a canvas dome last night.I woke this morning to the sound of Alligators roaring! What an adventure!
We started the day soaking in the hot springs again. Lily swung from the trapeze and did flips off it while Bub did arm exercises to loosen his healing shoulder. I booked a massage this morning and it was blissful! After an hour in the hot water and an hour having trigger points release all my tension, I … (3 comments)

epro: From Heber To Ogden - 06/10/09 03:16 AM
Started off at the Holiday Inn Express in Heber. I swam a bunch of laps in the heated pool while Lily dove and splashed and generally was delighted to swim. After cinnamon rolls for breakfast, we packed up and headed up the mountain to Park City for the day's e-PRO Workshop.
It was a rainy, drizzly day in Park City and the summertime looks pretty quiet there. I was told the market is still very slow. That probably makes it a great time to buy and get a really good deal on a second home! No pictures today! My battery died … (0 comments)

epro: Are You a Life Long Learner? - 02/27/07 01:42 PM
When you did your business plan and budget for 2007, did you decide what education you want this year and what it will cost. If these are part of the plan, it is more likely you will actually participate, grow and learn. In what area do you want to grow your skills this year? Your contacts? Make this intentional, not accidental. Good agents are always looking for ways to be better! There are some people in this place:
"It is what we think we know already that often prevents us from learning."~ Claude Bernard.
But, I bet that is not you. I … (0 comments)

epro: e-PRO in Hawaii - 01/30/07 06:30 AM
Boy, do I love paradise. I am pinching my self that I am so lucky to be able to do some e-PRO Workshops while we are enjoying a 17 day vacation on the beautiful Big Island.
It was rumored last year, I do the presentation in a grass skirt...but I didn't hear about that until later!
I've just bought a grass skirt! But I doubt this is what I'll be wearing this week.
However, I did bring a great deal of information about using technology more effectively to share with the agents who come to one of the workshops.   Here is the schedule:   Thursday, … (0 comments)
