Lake in the Hills goings on. Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation Dept. continues to fund the village's path projects with a grant awarded three years ago. Currently there are 12 miles of paved trails and the grant continues to fund expansion in an effort to link paths from neighboring communities such as Huntley. Today, residents can take the trails from Reed Road to Haligus Road and from Larsen Park to the McHenry County Prairie Trail. Cooperation between agencies is allowing the path to get to the point where everything is really connecting. What a great benefit to have a way people … (1 comments)
