In just two weeks, I'll begin my 13th year on ActiveRain. Though I do not blog here as often as I did when I began, I still like to check-in from time to time to see which posts have best resonated with ActiveRain readers.

In Tallahassee, the inventory of homes for sale continues to decline. In a market equilibrium situation, there would be 6 months of inventory available. As of October 2017, there is an average of only 4 months of inventory available, with even less in the desirable northeast part of the city. With a smaller pool of available homes for sale, home buyers will look at new construction to fulfill their needs.

Every single neighborhood in Tallahassee has seen home values decline, but none will weather this tough housing market better than the Bettons (IMHO).
I have written reports on the Bettons (Betton Brook, Betton Estates, Betton Hill, Betton Hills, Betton Oaks, Betton Place, and Betton Woods) for many years, as these neighborhoods are not prone to some of the problems that newer subdivisions in Tallahassee must endure.
