This cute Craftsman cottage at 1904 Arlington Ave was built in 1919. The east side of that street from 218th St. to 220th St. had approximately a dozen homes that came out of kit. The were built as housing for the workers at National Supply located on the corner of Carson St. and Western Ave. just inside the boundary of Torrance. The original homes were two bedroom, one bath and had 704 square feet not including the screened in rear laundry porch.
