I just read something from famed author & blogger, Seth Godin:  More Trouble Than It's Worth.
 
When we are willing to do those things that most people view as being more trouble than it's worth...THAT is a great place to be!
 
IT SETS you apart!
 
DO the things that others are not willing to do!

For us at OPiS - Business Differentiation means our OPiS Photo CD and OPiS Peace of Mind Tour...
OPiS inspectors document the condition of the home by literally taking hundreds of digital photos throughout the inspection (average sized home usually will have well over  1,000 pictures taken).  We call this our OPiS Photo CD.  These pictures are then burned on a CD and given to the home buyer if they are in attendance.  THIS is business differentiation because no other home inspection company markets this!

I remember EXACTLY when the "lights" went on for me when it comes to personal relationships.
I picked up the book by Dale Carnegie - "How to Win Friends and Influence People."
IF you stay with me on this...my story might be a little like yours...
Or at least it can give you HOPE if you have ever thought that "I am not a People Person".

I know some of you out there are GREAT at customer service! 
I love to eat at Chick-Fil-A.
Why?  Because I  know the service is going to be superb.  Do I really LOVE their food?  I am not head-over-heels with their food - but I keep going back because I know I am going to get great, friendly service!  (If it wasn't for the service, I probably would not go there very much!)

I really enjoyed this post by Barbara Todaro - as she talks about doing things consistently that others are just not willing to do!  Success is creating by consistently doing the fundamentals!
