The Falmouth Maine housing market saw a 24% increase in volume of transactions for the 3rd Quarter of 2011. A total of 51 sales were made during this quarter, giving Falmouth an above average quarterly increase in sales for the region – coastal and southern Maine saw an average 20% increase in sales. Prices for Falmouth properties rose 21% year over year to 442K. Through southern Maine pricing was stable.
