For the year ending 2008, the large southern Maine real estate county of York saw 2009 transactions transpire in 2008 vs 2550 in 2007, down approximately 20% and off about 45% from the peak of 3563 seen in 2004. As far as pricing goes, on average numbers were down about 11% as the average sold price of all homes and condos combined was 270K vs 303K in 2007 as the current prices are about where they were in 2004/2005.
