Refinance 85% Loan to Value with No Mortgage Insurance payment required. Refinancing a 1st along with a 2nd into one low fixed interest rate and not have to pay MI is all this customer wanted. Then the appraisal came in a bit low. I was still able to get him what he wanted despite now being at nearly 85% Loan to Value. I know there are a lot of choices these days with all the “Johnny come lately” mortgage companies out there. I hear stories of clients getting quotes that seem very attractive… but are just like Unicorns… Nice to look at but not based on reality. It’s the old Bait and Switch trick were the borrower is shown a interest rate that is just a bit lower than everyone else and after they spend their money … (2 comments)
