giving: Time To Give Back

Here we are the season to be giving. This time of year is the time we give the most. Some give all they have and some give what they can. There are some of us that would give if we could find a just cause to give too. Every one of us has a place we like to give donations to during this time of the year. giving: Fort Bliss' Operation Santa Claus

Operation Santa Claus gave approximately 66,000 toys to area children last year. It is a non-profit group run by soldiers' stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas. With a little over a month left they have collected only about 37,000 toys. They present these toys to organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of El Paso and Salvation Army. If you find it in your heart to donate to there cause you can take your toys to any El Paso fire station, 24 hours a day or to the Fort Bliss Operation Santa warehouse, Building 1123, on weekdays.
