Day 3 of Keller Williams Family Reunion Started off at the preview of the KW Mega Tech Camp, I was interested to learn about the new KW mobile app that each agent will have available to them. Then I heard Cary Sylvester chat about social crm followed by a panel with Jessica Starr & Wendy Papasan.
Then I headed to Gary Keller’s Vision Speech where he gave his view on where the real estate industry is heading. There were several points to take away from the presentation.

Day 2 started off by visiting the convention center to check out some of the vendors products. I put my ticket in to win the DeLorean. Here's a great picture of Lisa Archer chillin in it.
The first session I attended was on video. The class was a very good how to for beginners. I wanted to add these few tips. 1. Switch the Camera to Airplane Mode - This will prevent any alerts, texts or calls interpecting your perfect video.

KW Family Reunion 2013 Day 1 Here is my Day 1 update from Keller Williams Family Reunion. Started out eating breakfast hotel and then headed over to wait in line for the entrance for the doors to open. After the doors opened I ran around saying hi to vendor friends who I respect a lot and chat with online all frequently.

In the last two weeks, I have found some great opportunities using Craigslist. I have been using it to attract buyers to my website for several months and have been getting a decent amount of registrations. This week I posted 20 ads similar to this:
From these type of ads I generate 9 buyer leads. I posted these ads all on Monday morning. While these results are good, I ran some other ads for renters and I could not ignore the overwhelming results from them. Over the last 2 weeks I posted a handful of the following ads … (10 comments)

After a recent #retechchat on twitter. Drew Meyers, wrote a post inspired by from a comment that I had made. I noticed that a majority of the top producers in my area and even my company are not using Wordpress as their main website. In Drew's post he explained why agent's should consider using wordpress as an option for their website. While I think Drew brings up some very valid points, I think there are several issues agents need to consider. Do you blog? I recently read Rob Hahn's latest blog post, Keller Williams’ New E-Edge Program and Strategic Fit, in which he analyzes Keller Williams and their newest eEdge Technology Platform. Now, I don't know Rob personally, but from his education and experience he seems to be a really smart guy. I read his blog regularly and always seem to question his analysis of the issue he talks about. Recently, I attended Keller Williams annual gathering of the top agents in Austin, Texas know as Mega Camp. After listening to the best of the best talk about their business and the steps and tools they are using to succeed at a very high level, I took a few minutes to sit down and write the items that I could put into my business with little cost and increase my results. SEO, Google is King, Should I worry about the rest? After reading a post on Justice Wordlaw's facebook page, it got me thinking about his question. He stated "It seems Google pretty much owns and operates SEO is that a monopoly?". While Google has a vast amount of market share, I do not believe the other sites such as Bing or Yahoo should be ignored. Unless you live under a rock, the biggest buzz around the Chicagoland area is that Lebron James will be coming to Chicago to play for the Bulls.
