Our annual event is a great opportunity for you to hunt some outstanding whitetail deer in the world-renowned Black Belt of Alabama. Local landowners invite you into their best stands to enjoy deer hunting in the peak of the rut. Marion, Alabama is celebrating the Muckle's Ridge Festival this weekend, April 23-24. Live music, tasty food, an arts and craft show, and hot air balloon rides are yours to enjoy this weekend in Marion, Alabama. Muckle's Ridge, which is now known as the city of Marion, was one of the first towns settled in the area. The celebration is hosted by a partnership including, the Perry County Chamber of Commerce, Alabama Bureau of Tourism, City of Marion, Marion Military Institute, and the Perry County Commission.
