I'm gonna put my foot down today and finally say what one calls the Elephant in the room and that is this.... "There is just no room to have THREE giant players Zillow, Trulia, and Realtor.com in today's marketplace." First I'll disclose that I think we as business people are idiots for allowing our content to be sold back to us.... Second its probably even dumber for us to be installing these companies widgits on our own websites which only bring their sites higher then our own on the search engines....but heck I never said real estate people were smart. In fact I think what the real estate community has allowed by folks like Zillow, Trulia, etc... taking our "IP" Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind: inventions, literary and artistic works, and symbols, names, images, and designs used in commerce. and using it to build a business model that actually pours gas on the fire by selling it back to us or … (0 comments)
