The Calvert Marine Museum will be having their second big concert of the season featuring Daughtry & 3 Doors Down with special guest, Halestorm!
Both Daughtry & 3 Doors Down have had numerous #1 hits over the years and both have also sold millions of albums putting them on top of the rock charts.

Now that summer is right around the corner (June 21st to be exact!), I wanted to find some farmers markets in the area!
I've always loved fresh fruits and vegetables and this year is no exception. I didn't even realize that there were so many farmers markets around here until I researched it a bit more!

This event will feature 10 Superheroes with superhero training and live performances by Sam Grow Band, Justin Crenshaw Band, and Elvis. This event will also include photo ops with the superheroes, a moon bounce, face painting, vendors, food and bake sales, brown bag auction, 50/50 raffles, and much more!

Exciting news for local baseball fans! This evening, April 24th, marks the opening night of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs!
They will be playing against York Revolution at 7:05 and because it's opening night, there will be post-game fireworks!
Tickets: Children under 5 are FREE!
Lawn Seating is $6, Bullpen level seating is $9, and Field level seating is $13.
If you have never been to a Blue Crabs game, you should definitely check it out this season. It's a very family friendly stadium featuring bumper boats, a playground, and fireworks every Friday & Saturday.

The first Saturday in May, Gilbert Run Park will be hosting a fishing derby for children ages 6-15!
The categories are: Largest and Most Bluegill-Crappie-Bass and Special Award for Trout & Catfish.
Awards will be given in 2 different age divisions and bank anglers will compete separately from those who choose to fish from boats.
The entry fee is $7/team. The team consists of one child and one adult (age 21+).
