Carolina Cove did not see ANY action during the first quarter of 2012. In my opinion, that is because once someone moves to Carolina Cove.... they don’t want to leave. When I hear the words "small town" the first word that comes to mind is gossip. At least that is what I used to think until I moved to a small town and found out what their definition of being in every-body's business is. I remember when our neighbor had his heart attack. He had been planning on taking down a dead tree and of course, all the neighbors knew about it. The name of this cove changes depending on who you are talking too. Some of the old timer’s still call it Barbara’s Cove because Barbara loved to fish this cove. Most of us call it Carter Cove because the Carter’s live up on a bluff that overlooks the cove. You can be parked at the sand bar and they may hollar down at you -- come on up!! This darling 3/2/2 sold to a young man, a few years out of high school. That is so cool to me! Welcome to Carolina Cove on beautiful Lake Livingston. I lived in this wonderful community for 13 years and LOVED every minute of it. So why did we move? The house out grew us. Once we were "empty-nesters", we couldn't see the purpose of heating, cooling, maintaining and paying taxes on a home we didn't need. So... we sold "The Big House" and bought 2 acres directly on the Trinity River.
