County foreclosure auctions in Volusia & Flagler Counties, where we are going, take place in the county courthouses. And to get to the courthouse means going through the metal detectors, taking your shoes off, and some times getting your belt out. Well, while the Sheriff deputies are sweating in search of terrorists and weirdoes, there is often a long line of people and it takes time to get through. When we saw this property pooped on our radar, we got excited. The house in Edgewater at 190 Godfrey Ave took 3 years to build. I was at the County Court today. It is in DeLand, a small quaint town, our county seat… It was a tax Deed sale auction, and there were a few properties that were of interest to my investors. The hall, where they conduct the sales, was packed. Besides the seats at the table, people were sitting on the floor and standing along the walls. It's working. It's moving. This is a big shock. Yes, we know that properties in the group "steal it and I will even pay you if you do" are going fast, and the inventory is decreasing on this end. But medium priced properties in $300K-$400K range is a different animal.
