SURPRISE, BUCKEYE, LITCHFIELD, SUN CITY WEST, SUN CITY, SUN CITY GRAND, GLENDALE, PEORIA, PHOENIX, AZ. From the Arizona Republic, a Cancer Center Hospital has picked Goodyear, Az to build a new hospital. It will be a Cancer Treatment Center. They will be located close to the Banner Estrella Medical Center. Located in fast growing Goodyear, the facility will jump start 200 acres of neighboring space along Interstate 10. They state that they are a destination organization where people travel 500 miles to get to this hospital. They will create jobs for over 400 person with average wage of $50,000 a year. From the Arizona Republic, reports that home building in metropolitan Phoenix continues to stumble, with permits dropping 23 percent from last year. But it's not all bad news as we remain among the nation's leading housing markets. Phoenix, Arizona ranks No. 4 among the top five new-home markets nationwide, according to the latest building permit data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Forbes: Valley home to four of nation's 10 fastest-growing suburbs, from the Business Journal of Phoenix, reports that according to a survey released this week by Forbes magazine, Buckeye,Arizona. Surprise, Arizona. Goodyear, Arizona and Avondale, Arizona all come in the top 10 fastest growing suburbs in the U.S., according to Census Bureau data. Buckeye homes in Az. was the second-fastest growing suburb in the U.S. from 2000 to 2006, growing from 10,147 to 29,615, a jump of 192 percent. Collier Center sells for nearly $177 million, from the Phoenix Arizona Republic, reports that the 23-story Colliers Center building in downtown Phoenix, az has sold for $176.8 million, the biggest office sale in the Valley's history. The sale shows that Phoenix continues to be an attractive market for investors, said Jim Fijan, executive vice president with CB Richard Ellis, who helped broker the sale.
