Leesylvania is my favorite park right on the banks of the Potomac River. People come to fish right of the pier, jet skiers and boaters as well. The park also has some historic look-out places. I had a "for rent" craigslist ad, and received an email from a person expressing their interest "rent with option to buy". At first I thought this was some kind of scam. I asked to send me his phone number so we could have a little chat. I called him, and here is what happened. It turned out, he works at the Navy Yard, very same building where the attack just took place. I was glad to hear he was safe. Rachel (not her real name) contacted me for the first time back in March 2010, just when the $8000 tax credit was still the driving factor for First Time Home Buyers to come out and buy their very first home. Rachel and I emailed back and forth a few times, but she told me that she decided to wait. I emailed her back right away to find out what was stopping her. In my email I commented on the various loan programs available, the typical FHA , CDMP, and VHDA.
