Well, school is about to start in a few weeks, so if you've been thinking about taking that last minute summer vacation, the time is about now. The question some might have is where should I go? A valid question, with a number of possibilities. Some might want to visit friends and family. I want to take the opportunity to introduce the South Plantation High School Solar Knights, for those of you who are unfamiliar with their project. I met them at the Tower Shops Car Show in Davie, Florida about three Friday's ago. They have put together a fully functional solar-powered car, which at the show had people walking around the vehicle, asking questions such as how much did it cost, how does it work, etc. My conversation was with Daniel, the Team Captain and member of the building team, who is a very impressive young man to talk to, polite and knowledgable.
