Have you seen the news? Earlier this month, The Miami Herald reported that the entrepreneur/developer Moishe Mana wants to build a 24-acre ‘mini-city’ in Wynwood Art District. The plan, he told the paper, would be to take an abandoned strip of property in the neighborhood and build new buildings for tech and arts uses. He claims he wants to “make something out of nothing.” But I don’t think Wynwood is nothing or has been nothing for the past five years.

If you’re driving north on Biscayne, this is the apartment building on the right just before Northeast 82nd Street.
