Being that I'm a veteran Escondido trick-or-treater, I do have to say that the best harvest of candy we ever reaped came from the neighborhoods by the Westfield North County Shopping Center. The Bernardo Santa Fe Estates and the homes in Lomas Serenas are the hub of Halloween candy pickings. These are very nice communities and kids would tell tall tales of king size candy bars handed out by the cauldron! I like to think of the houses for sale in Escondido as a bag of my favorite trail mix. You may ask yourself why-I'll explain.
