Houston Residential Market Report - Overview - Houston, TX - January 2011 Today (February 15, 2011) the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) announced that in January (2011) homes sales increased in Houston for the first time in seven months, since June of 2010. Also, the average price of a single-family home reached the highest point for any January ever at $196,879. January sales of single-family homes rose 7.5 percent over January 2010. Total single-family home sales in January 2010 was 2,572 versus 2,766 for January 2011. Compared to January 2010, foreclosures declined by 4.7 percent in January, 2011. The total (5 comments)
