50s: September in the Wildwoods

Well, here we are at the end of another great summer at the shore. This weekend is the last hurrah for many people. The town will almost seem like a ghost town when everyone leaves. But, come the weekend, the town becomes alive again. Next weekend, we'll be entertained by the Mummers. It's great fun to sit on the curb and watch the bands go by. It brings back many childhood memories of going to Broad Street in Philadelphia and watching the Mummers do their stuff.
