fall: Wordless Wednesday? Does this qualify?
- 10/24/12 02:06 AM
When I took this picture of my 19 year old cat, Tiger, I personally felt "wordless". First, when I drove into the driveway, the sense of "contentness" this scene portrayed definitely left me without words. Second, after I recovered enough to grab my cell phone so I could take a picture, if I didn't remain "wordless" when I walked up to take the picture, Tiger would have jumped down to greet me! I hope you enjoy this sign of Fall in Central Pennsylvania as much as I did! (13 comments)

Do Woolly Bear Caterpillars Forecast Winter Weather? The Farmer's Almanac states that according to legend, the wider that middle brown section is (i.e., the more brown segments there are), the milder the coming winter will be. Conversely, a narrow brown band is said to predict a harsh winter. When my husband and I were out walking today. . . enjoying the Fall weather, we saw several of these woolly creatures. Then we went to several shopping stores and several of them had their Christmas Displays up (I do love JOY Christmas ornaments, but not in October!). We drove by Hershey Park and (3 comments)
