To talk to them when they need someone to talk to. To listen to them when they need someone to … (3 comments)

buyers: Negative Feedback isn't always a bad thing - 01/12/15 12:40 PM
To whoever has created the myth, that negative feedback is a bad thing was a pessimist. When it comes to real estate, or anything in general for that matter, you have to be the glass half full type of person. When you get a negative report on documents such as inspections, yes it might be a little disheartening at first, but in the long run it helps you. It allows you to fix everything that you need to in order to get the full value for your home. Negative feedback should be used and looked at as constructive criticism! It enables you from … (2 comments)

buyers: Illuminating your Home will make a Difference - 01/05/15 02:23 PM
One tip that I have for any seller, whether it be a real estate agent or a consumer, is to turn on ALL your lights before having an event such as an open house or showing. There are two reasons for this:
The first being, this will insure your potential buyers that all the lights in the house work. Whether it be the porch lights or the lights in the kitchen. Even if it is the daylight, it really does help with insuring your buyers that all the lights are functional.
The second reason, it really changes up a room's appearance … (3 comments)

buyers: Don't let scents affect the opinion of your home - 01/05/15 01:37 PM
I don't know about you, but the first thing I notice about a room I walk into is the smell. I know I'm not the only one who does this. But when your having an open house or a showing of your home, do you really want the scents to affect the opinion of the home?
There are many people that decide if the house is a possible purchase as soon as they walk into the house. If the first thing they do is sniff in the air and realize it smells bad, are they going to have a positive opinion … (6 comments)

buyers: A great way to clean your house: Sell it. - 11/28/14 09:15 AM
Before you say anything, I don't mean every time you clean your house its time to sell. That would be very hard! Nor do I mean, don't clean your house just sell it. Well... what exactly do I mean?
The number one thing I have stressed in most of my blog posts, is de-cluttering. De-cluttering is a really important step when it comes time to selling. I can not stress it enough. It can change the appearance of the whole house, let alone the whole room.
If you want some good advice on de-cluttering, check out my other posts.
The point … (0 comments)

buyers: Less is More - 10/13/14 12:34 AM
When you decide to sell a home, there is a long process that comes along with it. Check out my other post, To Do List for Sellers, to help you through this process. One of the points that I make all the time: de-clutter.
De-cluttering is one of the most important things when it comes to selling your home. You have to make sure your home appears larger than it is, to attract the attention of potential buyers. That's the goal.

Attract the attention of potential buyers.
That's where less is more comes to place.
The less furniture in … (1 comments)

buyers: Easy way to add color to your home before a Big Sale - 10/13/14 12:01 AM
The first thing a person sees when they walk into a room is bright color. Which means, you want to add a lot of gorgeous color to create an illusion for a buyer to be hypnotised by. Bright colors can also create a whole new room compared to a very dull colored room.
Now I don't mean go paint your walls hot pink. There are many ways to add color to a room. My favorite: colorful pillows. It's a great way to add color, without really changing anything. The last thing you want before you sell a house, is for the … (3 comments)

buyers: Fulshear: A Focus on an Up and Coming Town - 09/28/14 12:20 PM
Texas is known for their abundant land and the copious amounts of stereotypes. Even with the abundant amounts of stereotypes, from the Texan saying "Hey Y'all" to the "Do you ride horses to school?", we are the 2nd largest state in the United States; which means, we have a lot of land. With a lot of land, comes a great amount of cites and towns.
Fulshear, TX is a town that has been making it's name big. Their saying is, "Small Town with a Big Smile." Who wouldn't want to live in a town with that motto? Fulshear is located … (0 comments)
