Is the Stanislaus County real estate market being driven by CASH BUYERS? In just the last few days I have had two people say to me that "most buyers are cash buyers." They were speaking about the real estate market here in Stanislaus County. I have heard this theory many times in our current market. It is true that most homes listed in Stanislaus County are selling at or over their asking price. It is also true that most homes selling in Stanislaus County are receiving multiple offers. Since the "Bubble Burst" in late 2007 Stanislaus County along with San Joaquin and Merced Counties has been known as the Foreclosure Capital of the World. When I meet with people to list their homes they usually have some idea of what their home is worth. Sometimes they are pretty close and other times they are way off. Stanislaus County Short Sales - Spring is Here?? This past weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, I went to Lake Tahoe for a wedding. This is another one of the great things about living here in Stanislaus County. While Tahoe may not be a day trip (for me anyways) it is not too far away.
