Christmas was not long in our rear view mirror when the calls started up again today. We love inquiries on our listings; that's what we work for. However, there are calls, and then there are calls. I can tell with some calls that these folks are first time buyers and just starting out. first time home buyers: Not Much Time for New Yorkers to Get $8,000 Tax Credit - 08/04/09 05:39 AM
The $8,000 first-time home buyers tax credit is going to go away after December 1, 2009. This means that if you are in New York and want to take advantage, you don't have much more than 60 days. 
"How can that be?" you might ask, since December 1 is almost 120 days away.
