Anyone planning to visit the wonderful Outer Banks of North Carolina should plan a stop at the Whalehead Club in Currituck Heritage Park for their annual Arts In The Park. This is always a great event right up against the Currituck Sound in Corolla, NC. The event will be on Wednesday Sept. 1st from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday Sept. 2nd from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

One of my favorite things to do in Corolla, NC during the summer is to visit the Whalhead Club at the Currituck Heritage Park. They have get events planned throughout the year, but their Summer Concerts are one of the best. Here is the schedule for this summer. From the many events held at the WhaleHead Club at Currituck Heritage Park, to the climbing the lighthouse, to seeing the Corolla Wild Horses in Carova. The Moonlight Ghost Tours of the historic Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC have been doing so well that they have decided to continue them into January. If you haven't been to one yet, then dress warm and come on down to the Currituck Heritage Park.
December is here, and one wonderful way to welcome the Christmas season is to go to the Whalehead Club at the Currituck Heritage Park in Corolla, NC. Enjoy the beautiful lights, wonderful music & take a tour of the Historic Whaleehad Club as it would have been decorated in it's day.

whalehead club: Where can I launch my jet skies in Corolla NC?

This is a recent question that I had gotten and had to think about for a while. If you enjoy riding jet skies, there are a few places along the sound that allow you to rent them by the hour. There are are none to use on the ocean as the launching of Personal Water Craft (i.e. jet skies) into the ocean from the surf is not allowed anywhere on the Currituck Outer Banks. If you are planning on coming down here with your own jet skies your options become even more reduced by the fact that there are currently no (6 comments)
