Residental sales the TREND MLS Coverage Area dropped 3.2% in January 2011 compared to a year ago,. There were 2,888 sales reported in January 2011, compared to 2,984 in January 2010. Thirteen counties are included in the report in and around Philadelphia, parts of New Jersey, and Delaware, The number of sales decreased 14.5% in Delaware County, but the average sales price in that county was one of the larged at 8.9% New Castle County in northern Delaware also saw an increase in average sold price at 4.7% while the middle part of the state in Kent County declined 8.8%. … (4 comments)
