Janna Rankin Scharf, GRI, CLHMS, SFR - Coeur d'Alene Idaho Realtor Saturday was a snowy wonderland as I set out to take care of a few tasks at my office. It was absolutely lovely as the fluffy flakes fell softly on a landscape already heavy with snow. I took my camera along and snapped some photos as I ran errands. I came across the mail carrier in the Fort Grounds, living up to his motto and trudging through the snow banks to make door to door deliveries. What fun, as I got closer I recognized him as our Keller Williams mailman!

That more than doubles the number from last year at this time! These statistics reflect only the closed transactions reported through the Coeur d'Alene Multiple Listing Service. The Idaho Department of Lands approved a controversial new 46 boat dock to be constructed on the northwest side of Hayden Lake. The Falls At Hayden Lake Homeowner's Association was granted the encroachment permit for a 23 slip dock, with each slip accommodating two boats. The Falls At Hayden Lake is a controversial waterfront development scheduled for construction later this year. The request for approval brought a lot of resistance from current Hayden Lake waterfront property owners. No time to post the photos I promised, but I had a very pleasant weekend with my guys, going where the road took me. We drove around Hayden Lake (not Cd'A as planned) looking at homes (I can't help myself!) and the beautiful lake. Not much boat traffic for a holiday weekend... We had a horse drawn carriage ride; played some Boccie ball; walked the world's longest boardwalk at The Coeur d'Alene Resort; learned what a Gooey is and watched Derek devour a HUGE one; visited a pawn shop and found exactly what Rick was looking for at just $15; visited Sanders … (1 comments)
