SECONDARY WATERFRONT is a classification of waterfront property for sale in the Coeur d'Alene Multiple Listing Service. I often get questioned about just what exactly that term means.
Quite simply, it means that a particular piece of property
has no frontage on the water, but it does have rights to water access.
Often, we will see this in waterfront communities where some of the homes have frontage on the lake or river, while others in the neighborhood do not. The non-waterfront homes or lots are granted access to the neighborhood beach, dock, boat ramp or park which does front the water.
