Wow, I think this month Carol Williams and Kathy Streib may have opened Pandora's box. It is going to be hard to put some of these things we have learned back in the box. But I have already read some interesting posts so it was worthwhile. Here is my contribution. We work hard all our lives to accomplish our goals, earn recognition, and attain wealth. In our early years, we seldom recognize how our lives will evolve. We cannot predict the future, so we can only plan our futures based on the knowledge we have today. If the year 2020 has taught us anything, it should have taught us that life is unpredictable. Life can sometimes be a confusing series of forks in the road. Which way should I turn? Which is the best path to take? Of course, the only way to find out is to make the selection and proceed as if it is the only logical choice. I have taken many forks in the road throughout my life and based on the result I think I did pretty well.
