The Department of Planning and Land Use's Building Division conducted its final inspection and issued its approval to occupy Jamul's new fire station Feb. 23. Located on State Route 94 and Peaceful Valley Ranch Road, the station is a 5,200 square foot building with office space, sleeping quarters, a kitchen and 475 square feet of covered patios.
