brentwoodnh: Short Sale Closing
- 04/07/08 12:03 PM
Well we had another Short Sale close today and I can't express how good it feels to help our seller out of a tight spot. As they walked out of the closing company office I told them to take a deep breath. They did and now they feel like a great weight has been lifted off their shoulders. Even though they left with only the shirts on their backs, they now have an opportunity to start fresh. Is their credit affected? Probably, but for them it was worth the price not to be drowning under the mortgage they could no longer (11 comments)

brentwoodnh: Email from loved ones
- 12/30/07 04:12 AM
Have you ever received an email that offended you in one way or another from a friend or family member? What do you do to stop receiving that type of emails? Do you answer with rage or anger? I was at a party for my extended family yesterday and asked my nieces, nephews, brothers, etc. for their email addresses in order to improve communication in our family. While most were more than willing to share, some were quite reluctant. Perhaps they have had some bad experiences so I decided to write an email to all who shared their addresses with me. brentwoodnh: The 11th Annual Ladies Victorian Christmas Tea
- 12/07/07 03:34 PM
Tonight was the big night for us at Grace Ministries International in Brentwood, NH. We held our annual Christmas Tea and from the feedback I heard as people were exiting the building, it was a huge success. To check out some pictures, click here. This event is simply put, elegant and fun. Each table is decorated differently and each hostess puts on a spread fit for the queen herself. I was joined tonight by my friend, fellow Realtor and blogger here on AR, Monika McGillicuddy. The entertainment featured a variety of acts from musical solos, dancers, a cellist, a violin duet to Vox Jubilante (the group (12 comments)
brentwoodnh: Response from an inmate.................when I went to jail
- 12/01/07 12:38 PM
Some of you may remember that I went to jail just before Thanksgiving. For those who don't remember, you can read about it on my post "have you ever been to jail?". Anyway, my group, Vox Jubilante, received a letter addressed to the prison chaplin today and I wanted to share a bit of it here with you. My prayer after this experience was that these men would remember the music and somehow it would help them. This man who has asked to remain nameless told us in his letter that about a year ago he was at the point where he (11 comments)
brentwoodnh: Have you ever been to jail???
- 11/20/07 12:54 PM
I'll preface this post by saying that I didn't commit a crime or anything like that. I chose to go to jail tonight with a few of my closest friends. We sing in an ensemble called "Vox Jubilante" and we do things differently from your average singing group. We like to go where others don't even think about going. We went to the VA Hospital in Manchester, NH last month to welcome home some of the soldiers from Iraq. Check out my blog from that visit. But this was different......we went to jail. Why you ask? Well remember Jesus said "I was in (16 comments)
brentwoodnh: Halloween at Windy Brook Farm in Brentwood, NH 03833
- 10/30/07 02:38 PM
OK, so New Hampshire has this strange tradition of each town determining a date and time to celebrate halloween. They have decided throughout the years to stagger the celebration from town to town. I'm not exactly sure for their reasoning but that is the way it is and if kids play their cards right they could capitalize on this decision by getting their parents to take them to a different town each night for several days to "trick or treat". Imagine the candy haul! Weeks and even months worth of sweet treats. Wow! Well there is a neighborhood in Brentwood, NH called (3 comments)
brentwoodnh: Haunted Acres at New England Dragway
- 10/27/07 09:52 AM
Well it's that time of year when all the ghosts and goblins make their annual appearance. So if you are into the ghoul and like a good scare you may want to head over to Haunted Acres at The New England Dragway on the Brentwood/Epping, NH line. It is just off Route 101 at exit 8 toward Route 27 and there is plenty of parking so put the kids in the car for an adventure they won't soon forget. I'm not about the ghoul but my 10 year old grandson thinks this place is sick. His little sister went last year and refuses to (6 comments)
