Real Estate sales in September 2014 outpaced sales in 2013 with 63 sales as compared to 40 in September 2013, a 57.5% increase.  However, on a year to date (YTD) basis sales continue to lag behind 2013 with 754 sales as compared to 873 for the same time period last year, a nearly 14% decrease.

While year to date (YTD), sales are up by more than 9% as compared to the same time period in 2012, there were only 40 sales for the month of September 2013 as compared to 57 in September 2012--a nearly 30% drop.  YTD there have been 871 sales as compared to 797 in 2012. 
At the end of September there were 722 listings as compared to 684 last year at this time.

February brought good news to the greater Green Valley real estate market with 90 sales for the month as compared to 55 in the month of January.  On a year to date (YTD) comparison basis, the statistics are promising showing that in 2011 there have been 144 sales YTD as compared to 115 for the same time period in 2010.
