real estate scams: Real Estate Scam Becoming Increasingly Popular!

I had a fellow not too long ago contact me about properties in my area 500,000-750,000 dollar range, he was offering a CASH BUY and said that he would be in the states in 3 months. I worked hours and hours trying to get him set up with the right property to his very vague specifications. My whole contact with this fellow was very odd from the get-go, I wrote it off as his English was not so good and continued working with him until a very suspicious E-Mail scam was sent around my office was very similar (Same Scam Different Name)!
