Pay it forward...Meeting a new client this morning and treated him to a cup of coffee!
This morning I met a new buyer client at Starbucks in Dilworth.  It was a great place to meet to discuss this buyer's needs.  The atmosphere was comfortable, the smell and taste of fresh brewing coffee was delicious and it was just an enjoyable place to get to know more about my new client.
I made sure I was there before he arrived, so that I could get my coffee, purchase him a $5.00 gift card and get a table for two.  I had everything … (13 comments)

Today my Mastermind group at Keller Williams continued to discuss the book that we are reading...
"The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" by T. Harv Eker
Let me pose a question to you and answer honestly...
1) Do you try to avoid and shrink from problems?
T. Harv Eker states..."Rich people are bigger than their problems.  Poor people are smaller than their problems."
He also goes on to say... "The size of the problem is never the issue....what matters is the size of you."

charlotte home info: Promoting the Sellers Property with a Great Virtual Tour! - 03/19/11 03:56 PM
Promoting the sellers property with a great virtual tour is so important.  It reminds me of the old saying
" A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words"
One of the ways that I market each and every listing is to hire a professional photograher to go out and shoot some great photos and to set up a virtual tour.  I take a few shots to add to MLS when the listing first goes live, for I do not like to see a listing go into MLS without pictures.  I then schedule the professional photographer to go out and take pictures.

charlotte home info: Keep Yourself Safe.... GPS Safety! - 03/18/11 01:39 PM
Keep yourself safe.... GPS Safety!
During a Mastermind meeting this week an agent shared a great point concerning the use of the GPS, the global positioning system.

The safety point that was shared was the following... Do not set your GPS to "Home" when you are finished for the day.  Set it for a location close to home like Panera Bread, Home Depot and etc.  This was suggested, for if you have it set for home and your car is stolen you are directing the thief right to your house.  What makes this even more of a concern...your garage … (18 comments)

Pay it forward...Gave My Only Umbrella to Buyer Clients Yesterday!
Yesterday I had buyer clients fly in from Pittsburgh, Pa and we spent the day looking at property and before we finished it was pouring rain.  As they went to leave I gave them my umbrella for they had a rental car and no umbrella.  They did not want to take my umbrella, but I felt that they needed it more then me.  I was heading home and could get dried off.  They were off to meet friends for dinner and had places to walk to get to restaurants and etc.  … (23 comments)
