This weekend a Mt. Juliet tradition will take place at Charlie Daniel's park. The 30th annual Mt. Juliet Pow Wow will be September 24-25, 2011, with gates opening each day at 10:30 am. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for kids 6-12 and FREE for kids 5 and under. The Pow Wow is a great way to get out and enjoy a beautiful day (the weather forecasters are saying it should be in the low to mid 70's!) and learn more about Native American culture and history. Events include a drum contest, dance contest, Native American Music, crafts and many more. … (0 comments)
