Bank of America started processing all short sales online several months ago, with a system called "Equator". I was one of the first agents in Clark County to get one through.... and rather quickly! Now Wells Fargo has joined the streamlined short sale process for a select few, approved agents. I received the email last week that they would like me to join them in this pilot endeavor, for processing their short sales through this venue. I happily accepted!

Call me crazy, and perhaps even lucky, that I am able to get short sales through with a 90% success rate... so far (knock on wood). I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact that I am the office joke.... with a phone on each ear for hours a day waiting, waiting, waiting, for the next available operator. We had to switch buyers three times, the seller was self employed and income was difficult to verify, the file got lost once, the approval expired twice.... but we still managed to get this Battle Ground, WA home sold to some lucky first time buyers in less than 60 days!

Indymac/Onewest bank was the first mortgage and they were wonderful to work with, and allowed a generous amount to the 2nd lien holder, Green Tree Servicing. It took a lot of dilligence and follow up, but the happy buyers are moving in this weekend!
